Fire of Anatolia Dance Show at Ancient Aspendos

Things to Do in Antalya

Antalya is Turkey's second-most-searched destination for both travelers and relocators — a genuine old town, dramatic waterfalls, some of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world, and Mediterranean beaches, all within a compact, walkable area. **Good to know:** Kaleici's cobblestone streets are genuinely uneven — comfortable shoes matter more here than in most old towns. Duden Waterfalls has both an upper (park, free) and lower (boat-view, paid) section — worth knowing before you go so you don't miss the one you wanted. July-August heat is intense; ruins like Aspendos have little shade, so morning visits are noticeably more comfortable. Ranked below by rating: the ten experiences worth prioritizing, from Kaleici's cobblestone streets to Aspendos' still-functioning 2,000-year-old theater.
