Fethiye's nearest airport is Dalaman (DLM), roughly 45-60 minutes away by car or shuttle, with direct flights from Istanbul and seasonal international routes.

From Dalaman, most hotels and villas arrange transfers — worth booking ahead in peak summer months when demand for airport transport spikes.

Within the wider Fethiye area, a rental car is genuinely useful for reaching Oludeniz, Kayakoy's ghost village, and the surrounding bays independently, though dolmus (shared minibus) routes cover the main tourist stops reasonably well too.
